Alchemy without gold

We are living in an era of Alchemy without Gold.
The world is humming with onchain activity, yet the foundations of permanence are rotting. We witness the ascent of billion-dollar crypto narratives, while the infrastructure of reality stagnates.
We were promised a digital renaissance. We were promised transparency, decentralization, and a bridge to a new horizon where value flows freely. Instead, the ecosystem was hijacked and transformed into a theatre of episodic speculation.
The markets were seduced with convenient lies: that value can be conjured from thin air, that wealth can be severed from work, and that a story is worth more than a structure. An economy of echoes was constructed, a hall of mirrors where prices chase narratives, and reality is treated as an inconvenient, outdated legacy.
But deep down, you feel the vertigo. You feel the hollowness of a system where billions vanish in a day because a story broke or this centralized report was released or that institutional stats came out. You watch helplessly as utility gaps catch up to the price action, realizing that no amount of "innovation" can mask the absence of revenue where "assets" have no mass. You feel the crushing realization that there is no meaningful bridge between the Onchain promise and the IRL reality, that for all the talk of decentralization, your livelihood remains linked to the whims of the feckless.
We see a financial world spinning faster and faster, while the physical world decays. No secure, sustainable future can be built atop this foundation.
This is not a market cycle. It is a Technological Stagnation, a Civilizational Hallucination. And like all dreams, it must end.
